Newborns are best photographed up to 3 weeks to take the ‘sleepy’ photos. This session will take up to 3 hours giving plenty of time for nursing and outfit changes. It is always lovely to include spouses, kids and pets if you like.

The $195 newborn session includes:

Preparation guide (emailed to you)
Up to 3 hours of photography
Props & outfits
Lots of fun, laughing and oohing
Editing, skin corrections, color correction
Ordering session

SESSION FEE

The session fee covers the photography session, editing, skin & color corrections, ordering session. The non-refundable fee (can be rescheduled with advanced notice) is due at booking to secure your time and day. The fee does not include prints or products which are purchased separately.

How much do you charge for newborn portrait sitting?

The sitting fee is $195 for a studio session.

How long is the session?

This really depends on your newborn. It is best to plan for two hours in the studio. This includes outfit and diaper changes and feeding.

How many outfits are included?

We recommend three different outfits.

Do you provide outfits?

Yes, we have several wraps, hats and blankets.

What is the best time for maternity portraits?

The newborn photo session is best scheduled seven to 14 days after birth.

What is included in the sitting?

Preparation guide, two hours of photography, image editing (skin corrections, blemish removal).

Would you come to private homes?

Yes, we do that. The additional charge is $50.

Who can participate?

This is totally up to your preference. Spouses, kids, and pets are welcome to participate.

Do we get pictures with the sitting fee?

No, the sitting fee is for the creation of the portraits only. There are several image packages available, or you can order a la carte.

What about digital images?

Yes, we offer digital packages with full reproduction rights for purchase.

Is there a minimum purchase?

There is no minimum purchase required, but generally clients spend around $400 on products.

What about attire for all other participants?

We will send you detailed information regarding attire.

What about hair and make-up?

We always recommend professional hair and make-up should mom want to be in the portraits, and we will be happy to arrange for you at an extra charge.

Is a deposit required at time of booking?

Yes, $100 is due at booking. This will secure your personal time slot. Without a deposit, we can’t secure. This deposit is not refundable.

Can we reschedule?

Yes, with prior notice up to two times. No shows will forfeit the deposit.

Do you have online ordering?

No, we don’t. We believe that online viewing does not give your images full justice. We will invite you to come back to the studio about 10 days after the session. At that time, you can enjoy a slideshow presentation with all selected images. We will then guide and advise you through the selection and ordering process.

How long do you keep the images for reordering?

We keep easy access to your images for one year after your ordering. After that, they are stored on a server and can be retrieved for a small access fee.
